Global blockchain thought-leaders including a membership organization, a blockchain development studio, a programmable secure networking company and an IoT leader are founding members of an open-idea exchange designed to explore and educate on the benefits of integrating decentralized enterprise applications with secure software defined networking.
Atlanta, GA; New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; Austin, TX – November 26, 2019 – The Silicon Valley Blockchain Society, Pulse Labs, Dispersive Networks and ClearBlade announced today that they have launched a joint effort to explore the relationship between mission critical distributed blockchain systems and highly secure and performant software defined private networks.
Blockchain Network Fusion (www.bcnfursion.io) was collectively developed as a media platform that consolidates industry resources including white papers, blogs, articles and links to organizations contributing to the development of enterprise approaches, while also sharing news on relevant integrations of systems and networks, as well as new vertical industry applications in healthcare, military and government, financial services, IoT, Industrial IoT and manufacturing.
As this media platform grows, the companies will invite other thought leaders from across the blockchain and secure networking industries to participate in the spirit of open dialogues centered on important issues, including data integrity, privacy, security, and the advancement of principles associated with the spectrum of approaches from fully decentralized to permissioned systems.
This new consortium has partnered with Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC) and their Blockchain Domain imprint to enhance distribution of articles to their existing readership.
“Through this thought leadership initiative, we have a means to organize and share information in an open forum,” said Amit Pradhan, Silicon Valley Blockchain Society, Founder & President. “Pulse Lab and Dispersive Networks represent innovation in developing enterprise blockchain solutions and businesses with a focus on the role of secure networking purpose-built to protect highly decentralized systems. As the adoption of blockchain by many of the world’s largest banks, exchanges, healthcare delivery and insurance companies, along with IoT and Industrial IoT solution companies accelerates, collaborating on how to ensure security is essential.”
“Blockchain and distributed ledger technologies have matured beyond the start-up and experimental stages,” said Pulse Lab’s CEO, Ben Murray. “This year, we’ve seen nearly every large software, cloud and platform companies from AWS to Google announce projects and have witnessed the growth of open source communities which continue to expand to include the world’s largest corporations. With industry-wide initiatives led by institutions including the New York Stock Exchange, the world’s largest banks, and most recently government regulators and agencies well underway we know security will be a fundamental focus in 2020 and beyond. Blockchain Network Fusion looks forward to serving as a resource for those wishing to learn more about the relationship between blockchain systems and secure networks.”
“The idea of Blockchain Network Fusion came about organically, when we began our own research and found surprisingly little published on the symbiosis of decentralized systems and secure networks that support blockchain, including those where edge computing is required,” said Ed Wood, CEO, Dispersive. “This new community media platform started with a white paper created in collaboration with Pulse Lab and Silicon Blockchain Society, which surfaced new challenges and opportunities. It became clear that more exploration and innovation at the intersection of blockchain and software-defined networking would be tremendously valuable especially as decentralized systems scale and will require the level of control and governance enterprises and organizations demand. There is a paradox when it comes to completely decentralized systems and permissioned versions of those systems, which is where private networking based on policy steps in.”
“The distributed ledger combined with secure edge networking is perfectly suited for large-scale Industrial IoT systems,” said Eric Simone, founder and CEO, ClearBlade. “When we fuse quality technologies together, we can deliver to enterprises in the most mission critical industries security and data integrity required to efficiently run connected systems. We have found ourselves at the intersection of the digital and physical world, and with the right solutions and integrations, we can accelerate even further the adoption of IIoT and drive even more value. We are delighted to be part of this important exploration.”
